LVC 13U Women finish 8^th

The first premier tournament for the U13 girl's teams took place this past weekend, March 1^st and 2^nd, in Calgary. With this being the first tournament of the year, the excitement was in the air. LVC Fresh finished 8^th in the 14 team event kicking off a great start to the season. On Saturday, LVC Fresh placed 2^nd in their pool and continued on to their cross-over playoff game against Impact Tidal Wave of Calgary, winning in 2 straight sets. LVC Fresh then met up Park Passion in the quarter final, and fought a tough battle, but unfortunately lost sending them to the battle for 5^th place. LVC Fresh went on to play FOG Hawks and then for the 7^th place met went on to play the Cochrane Jaguars. It was a great game, and the girls played well, but ended up placing 8^th.

With finishing 8^th, LVC Fresh is right in the middle of the pack and are in an excellent position for the next premier tournament at the beginning of April.
