14U Women's LVC Shock comes in 4^th

The first Alberta Volleyball Association's 14U Women's premier was held at Rally Pointe in Calgary on March 1-2, 2008, boasting 43 teams from across Alberta. Shock began the Tournament seeded sixth. Shock played very strong volleyball and emerged from their pool undefeated moving into the Division 1 playoff round. Shock started the play-offs Saturday night and was able to defeat WHAM! Impavido from Taber to move onto play Sunday morning. Shock met Park Heat from Sherwood Park defeating them and advancing them into the semi-finals where they faced a strong FOG Hawks team from Edmonton. Shock was defeated and went on to faced Canuck Pride in the bronze medal match where they lost 1-2 and finished the first premier fourth.
