LVC U16 girls Synergy wins bronze medal:

The Lethbridge Volleyball Club U16 girls Synergy were good as bronze this weekend in Calgary as they competed in Alberta Volleyball Associations third Premier tournament.

Synergy went undefeated through the round robin with straight set wins over Cochrane, CW Forza and Grande Prairie. This gave LVC a bye into the quarterfinals where they met up with NAVC out of Edmonton. NAVC took Synergy to the limit, eventually losing 25-16, 18-25, 15-11.

Synergy faced the Calgary Dinos in the semis, dropping the match in three sets. Synergy then went onto claim their third bronze medal of the season with a straight set win over Grande Prairie.

Next up is the Provincial Championships in Edmonton May 2-4.
