14U Women LVC Velocity comes in 5^th

The first Alberta Volleyball Association's 14U Women's premier was held at Rally Pointe in Calgary on March 1-2, 2008, boasting 43 teams from across Alberta. Velocity began the Tournament seeded fourth. Velocity played very strong volleyball and emerged from their pool undefeated moving into the Division 1 playoff round. Velocity defeated Wolves Red from Grande Prairie taking them to Sunday morning play where they faced a strong Canuck Pride from Calgary, they were unsuccessful in their bid to beat Pride, moving them on to play Canuck Stealth from Calgary. Velocity ended the tournament in grand fashion beating Stealth to finish 5th in the premier.
